Munich (AP) – UEFA has confirmed that the Nations League semi-finals between Germany and Portugal will proceed as scheduled on Wednesday, despite potential storm warnings in Munich.

The European football governing body stated that it is “continuously monitoring the weather conditions in conjunction with relevant local authorities,” and advised fans attending the match to allow extra travel time and dress appropriately for the weather.

“The match is set to go ahead as planned, and any updates will be communicated directly to ticket holders,” UEFA announced.

The German national team’s official account echoed this advisory, urging fans to ensure they allow ample time to reach the stadium and to bring raincoats, ponchos, or small umbrellas due to the likelihood of “adverse weather conditions.”

Germany’s National Weather Service has issued alerts for storms, winds, and the potential for severe weather late Wednesday in Bavaria, where Munich is located.

In another semi-final, France will face Spain in Stuttgart on Thursday.
