ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Dallas Wings’ rookie Page Bueckers will miss her third consecutive game due to a concussion as the Los Angeles Sparks visit on Friday night.
The first overall pick in this year’s draft from UCONN, Bueckers has been placed in the WNBA concussion protocol following a 97-92 loss to Chicago on May 29th. The Wings indicated she will miss at least two games but did not provide specific details regarding the cause of her concussion.
Bueckers has already missed home games against the Sky and a match-up in Seattle. Currently, Dallas sits last in the WNBA with a record of 1-7.
The three-time Associated Press All-American averaged 14.7 points, 6.7 assists, and 2.0 steals while playing nearly 34 minutes per game.
